Great news! The all-new Dacia Logan, Sandero and Sandero Stepway have made their public debut today at the Paris Motor Show. The Logan and Sandero will share the same engine lineup, starting with a small three-cylinder 898cc turbocharged gasoline unit with 90 hp (66 kW) at 5,250 rpm and a peak torque of 99.5 lb-ft (135 Nm). With this engine, both cars will be able to return 54.3 mpg UK (45.2 mpg US or 5.2 liters / 100 km) and have CO2 emissions of 120 g/km.

There’s also the 1.2-liter engine for these two models, with 75 hp (55 kW) and a fuel consumption of 47.8 mpg UK (39.8 mpg US or 5.9 liters / 100 km), while CO2 emissions stand at 137 g/km. In select market (excluding UK), this engine will also get an LPG version that promises to have only 125 g/km of CO2.

As for the diesel, this would have to be a 1.5-liter dCi with either 75 hp (55 kW) or 90 hp (66 kW). Peak torque for the less powerful engine is of 147 lb-ft (200 Nm) and it’s reached at 1,750 rpm, while the other has a maximum torque of 162 lb-ft (220 Nm), also at 1,750 rpm. Fuel consumption is rated at 74.3 mpg UK (61.8 mpg US or 3.8 liters / 100 km), with CO2 emissions of 99 g/km.
As for the more rugged Sandero Stepway, this is offered only with the 0.9-liter engine and the 1.5-liter dCi with 90 hp. The gasoline version consumes 52.3 mpg UK (43.5 mpg US or 5.4 liters / 100 km) and has CO2 emissions of 125 g/km, while the diesel can return 68.9 mpg UK (57.3 mpg US or 4.1 liters / 100 km).
All three models will be offered with Dacia’s Plug&Radio multimedia solution that includes a wide screen and an MP3-compatible CD player with Bluetooth support, USB sockets and fascia jack, as well as controls mounted on the steering wheel. Also available is the MEDIA NAV system that debuted on the Lodgy and Dokker models that has a 7-inch touchscreen display.
